Prince Eugen 150 Years Booklet of 5

The Sweden Postal Service will issue a new booklet of 5 stamps that have a postage value of 14Kr named "Prince Eugen 150 Years" on the 3rd of March 2015. These stamps depict the landscape paintings done by Prince Eugen who was born in 1865 as the fourth son of King Oscar II and Queen Sophia. The stamps depict his paintings of: The Cloud, The Old Castle, Haga Moods, The Oil Mill, and The Temple of Happiness. He was one of the prominent landscape painters of his era and an art collector of great importance. His home which is now the Waldemarsudde museum consists of a renowned art museum with a lush park. The museum contains his collection of 7,000 objects. More than 3,000 of these works have been done by Prince Eugen.

"Prince Eugen 150 Years" stamps can be purchased in a booklet of 5, Collector Sheet and FDCs. The size of each stamp is 26.2mm x 26.5mm. They will be printed using the offset printing process.
