World Kiss Day

The San Marino Postal Service has issued 4 new stamps that have postage values of 0.05e, 0.15e, 0.95e and 2.50 Euroes named "World Kiss Day" on the 16th of June 2015. World Kiss Day was established in the United Kingdom on the 6th of July 1990. Since then, the World Kiss Day has spread worldwide. The 4 stamp design by Olimpia Zagnoli shows kissing lips in the shape of a red heart with a female and male figure facing each other. The true basic of love with affection, passion and happiness that is practice worldwide.

The World Kiss Day stamps can be purchased as Sheets of 16 and assorted FDC's. The size of the stamps is 35mm x 35mm with a perforation size of 13.25 using the 2cm reference. They were printed by Cartor Security Printing using the 4 color offset printing method. A total of 50,016 sets were printed.
