Think Green (Europa)

The Norway Postal Service will issue two new stamps with postage values of 14 and 18 NOK named "Think Green (Europa)" on the 9th of May 2016. These stamps are being issued to encourage both homes and businesses to think more about the environment. To accomplish this goal we need to reduce, reuse and recycle. Examples of what we need to do to accomplish this goal is to sort our trash at home, bike to work, and reduce our electrical use. Governments throughout the world are so concerned about this that a summit was held in Paris in December 2015. An agreement was reach to set a goal of limiting global warming to less than 2 degrees. Every country at the summit said yes to reduce carbon emissions and to report their progress every fifth year after 2018. This year Europa stamps will help remind us just how important this is.

Think Green stamps can be purchased as singles and FDC. They will be printed by Joh. Enschede Security Print using the offset printing process .
