Birds I

The Norway Postal Service has issued two new stamps that have a postage value of 16Kr named "Birds I" on the 2nd of January 2015. These new stamps depict two bird species of Norways bird population. They are the Eurasian blue tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) and European crested tit (Lophophanes cristatus). Both species have a population of 50,000+ pairs in Norway and mainly live in forest areas.

"Birds I" stamps can be purchased in a set of 2, Presentation Pack, Collector Set and FDC. They will be printed by Joh. Enschede Security Print using the offset 4 color printing process.
