Ireland The Food Island, Se tenant pairs

The Ireland Postal Service has issued two new se tenant pair stamps that have postage values of 70c and 1.05 euro named "Ireland The Food Island" on the 16th of July 2015. These stamps are being issued by the Ireland Post to recognize the importance of Irelands Agricultural Food industry. It produces nearly 25 billion euros in food and drink products; and employs about 45,000 people. Foreign sales to 175 different countries amount to nearly 9 billion euros in 2012. Ireland has predicted that by 2020 it will increase to 12 billion euros. Irelands goal is to become a world leader in sustainable produced food.

Ireland The Food Island stamps can be purchased as se tenant pairs, Sheets of 16, Miniature Sheet and assorted FDC's. The size of each stamp is 45mm x 30.95mm with a perforation size of 13.3 x 13.6 using the 2cm reference. The size of the miniature sheet is 150mm x 90mm. They were printed by Cartor Security Printing using the lithography printing method.
