Fair Dinkum Aussie Alphabet Part 2 Stamps

Australia Postal Service has issued 5 new stamps with a postage value of $1 each named "Fair Dinkum Aussie Alphabet Part 2" on August 16th, 2016. These five stamps are the second issue in the Aussie Alphabet series. A third will be issued in the near future. These alphabet stamps come with a tongue twisting story that matches the alphabet letter in the upper left corner of each stamp. Each character and tongue twisting story is listed in the table below:

  • A- Aaron the angry Aussie Rules aficionado is anxious that acclaimed Adelaide achieves its ambition.
  • C- In Canberra, Cheryl and Claude a customarily cautious couple courageously cajole a chummy crocodile and crazy cockatoo into camping and cooking.
  • L- Louisa the lazy Lace Monitor lobs a lamington to Lionel the Lyrebird for lunch.
  • R- rapacious Rebecca regards her rusty refrigerator replete with relics robbed from her rich relatives.
  • T- This time its Tassies(boat) turn with Torquin the tradie teaching two up in his tinny to Teena the terrified Tasmanian Devil. Tragically, when the coins were tossed, terrified Teena toppled into the treacherous Tasman in a tailspin

Fair Dinkum Aussie Alphabet Part 2 stamps can be purchased as a set of 5, Assorted Booklets of 10, Booklet collection, Strip of 5, Gutter of 10, Assorted chequebooks, Stamp pack and assorted FDC. The size of the stamps is 26mm x 37.5mm with a stamp perforation size of 14.6 x 13.86 using the 2cm reference. They were printed by Mckellar Renown using the offset lithography printing process.
