Legends of Hollywood James Stewart

United States Postal Service has issued a new stamp with a postage value of 41 cents named "Legends of Hollywood James Stewart" on the 17th of August 2007. This is the 13th stamp issued in the Legends of Hollywood series. The stamp is being issued to honor James Stewart who was one of America's famous film stars that audiences loved to watch. James Stewart (1908-1997) is remembered as the hero in classic American movies such as Mr. Smith Goes to Washington(1939), The Philadelphia Story(1940), and Rear Window(1954). He also star in Destry Rides Again(1939), Harvey(1950), The Glenn Miller Story(1954), and the holiday favorite, It's a wonderful life, which is shown on TV every year during the Christmas season. James Stewart had a remarkable career and will be remember for years to come.

"James Stewart" stamp can be purchased in a pane of 20, Block of 10, Block of 4, Uncut press Sheet, or FDC's. The size of each stamp is 41mm x 26mm with a Surpentine Die Cut . They will be printed using the Offset printing process.
