The Art of Disney: Celebration

United States Postal Service has issue four new stamps that have a postage value of 37 Cents each named "The Art of Disney: Celebration" on the 6th of June 2005. This is the second set in the series called the Art of Disney which shows Disney characters celebrating. In this series the stamps depict the following Animated Characters:

  • Mickey Mouse and his dog Pluto (Top Left)
  • Mad Hatter and Alice from Alice in Wonderland (Top Right)
  • Ariel and Flounder from "The Little Mermaid". (Bottom Left)
  • Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. (Bottom Right)

"Art of Disney: Celebration" stamps can be purchased as a pane of 20, Blocks of 4 & 10, or FDC's. The size of each stamp is 1.23" x 1.56" and the size of each pane is 7.13" x 8". The stamps will be printed by Banknote Corporation of America/Sennett Security Products, Browns Summit, NC using the Offset printing process with self-Adhesive Gum paper. A quantity of 215 million stamps will be printed.
