Holiday Ornaments

It's that time again when postal services around the world issue their new Christmas Stamps. This year the United States Postal Service has issued four new stamps that have postage values of 37 cents each named "Holiday Ornaments" on the 16th of November 2004. The four stamps depict Santa Holiday Ornaments that are made of glass and were created in the mid-19th century by glassblowers in Lauscha, Germeny. They were hand-painted and became a favorite Christmas Tree Ornament around the world.

"Holiday Ornaments" stamps can be purchased as Block of 4, Pane of 20, Booklets, or FDC. The size of each stamp is 0.91" x 1.19" and is Serpentine Die Cut. They will be printed by American Packaging Corporation, Columbus Wis., using the gravure printing process with self-adhesive paper.
