The Art of Disney: Friendship

United States Postal Service will issue four new stamps with a postage value of 37 cents each named "The Art of Disney: Friendship" on the 6th of June 2004. This will be the first in a series of three issues that will depict Walt Disney famous animated characters. In this issue the four stamps include some of Disney's most cherished animated characters: Mickey Mouse, Pinocchio, Bambi, Simba and more. The main theme for these new issues will be celebration and romance.

"The Art of Disney: Friendship" stamps can be purchased as a Block of 4, Block of 10, Pane of 20 w/Plate no. & Header, or FDC's. The size of each stamp is approx. 1.23" x 1.56" and the size of the Pane is approx. 7.13" x 8.00". They will be printed by American Packaging Corp., Columbus Wis. using the Offset printing process. Quantity printed will be 284 million stamps.
