The United Nations Postal Service has issued three new mini-sheets with postage values of 45 cents, 0.85 F.s. and 0.70 Euro named "2012 Coin and Flag Series" on the 3rd of February 2012. These new mini-sheets with 8 stamps each are the sixth in the series of the coin and flag issues. This series is expected to run for approximately 8 years until stamps representing all 193 Member States are issued. Each new mini-sheet in this issue is shown above with a detail page that list the Member State, date of UN entry, currency and the value of the coin shown.

"2012 Coin and Flag Series" stamps can be purchase as a mini-sheet, Collection Folder, or various FDC's. The size of the stamps is 30mm x 40mm with a perforation size of 13.33 x 13.33 using the 2cm reference. They were printed by Cartor Security Print, France using the Offset printing process. The quantity of 45 cents printed will be 43,000 sheets, and the quantity of 0.85 F.s. with be 48,000 sheets, and the quantity of 0.70 Euro will be 56,000 sheets.
