2008 Coin and Flag Series

United Nations Postal Service has issued 3 new mini-sheets with 24 new stamps with postage values of 41 Cents, 0.85 Fs, and 0.65 Euro named "2008 Coin and Flag Series" on the 8th of May 2008. This is the third consecutive year of the stamp series representing coins and flags of Member States of the United Nations. The series is expected to run for approximately eight years until stamps representing all 192 Member States are issued. Each country flag and coin is described in the list below:

"2008 Coin and Flag Series" can be purchased by the sheet, Collection Folder, Personalized Special Event sheet or FDC's. The size of each stamp is 30mm x 40mm with a Perforation size of 13.33 using the 2cm reference. They will be printed by Cartor Security Printing, France using the Offset printing process. The quantity of each printed is listed below:

  • 41 Cents 800,000 Stamps (100,000 Sheets)
  • F.s. 0.85 800,000 Stamps (100,000 Sheets)
  • 0.65 Euro 960,000 Stamps (120,000 Sheets)
