100 Years Swiss National Park

The Switzerland Postal Service will issue a new se-tenant strip of 3 stamps with a postage value of 100chf each named "100 Years Swiss National Park" on the 6th of March 2014. This stamp issue marks 100 years to the day since the Swiss parliament voted to establish the park. The park is 170 kilometer square and the only National Park in Switzerland. The goals of the National Park in to allow nature to develop without human interference and to research the associated processes. Through the National Park Center in Zernez, which was open in 2008 is the ideal base to prepare for a tour for adults and their children. For further information go to or email:

"100 Years Swiss National Park" se-tenant stamp strip of 3 can be purchase as a strip of 3, Sheets of 15, Assorted Blocks, Folder and Assorted FDCs. The size of each stamp is 37mm x 37mm, 32mm x 37mm, and 35mm x 37mm working from left to right. The Sheet size is 134mm x 215mm. Stamp perforation size is 13 1/2 x 13 3/4. These stamps will be printed by Gutenberg AG, Schaan, Liechtenstein using the offset 4 color printing process.
