Switzerland Postal Services 2011 Issue

The Switzerland Postal Service will issue 4 new stamps that have a postage value of 100 centimes named "Congratulations" on the 2nd of September 2011. This new stamp issue will put a smile on anyone who receives a letter with these stamps on it. There the best way to express good wishes to anyone you care about. By sending someone a letter with these stamp on it, you share in their lives, take a heart-warming interest, make a wonderful gesture and give great happiness. And, as we all know, happiness is very contagious. The four different congratulation stamps are depicted above and listed in the table below:

  • Ring-a-ding - with a touch of romance, rings are exchange and people get married.
  • Hushabye baby - with this stamp you can congratulate a friend or family member who has just had a baby.
  • Congratulation, and Cheers - with this stamp you can toast to just about anybodies happy memories.
  • Hook, line and sinker - with this stamp you can dangle your heart before them and see if you get any bites.

"Congratulation" stamps can be purchased as a set of 4, Set of blocks of 4, Folder, Collection sheet, Sheets of 20. or various FDC's. The size of these stamps is 33mm x 28mm, and the size of the sheet is 195mm x 140mm. The perforation is 13 3/4 x 13 1/4 using the 2cm reference. They will be printed by Cartor Security, France using the offset four color printing process with 220gms self-adhesive paper.
