300th Anniversary from Leonhard Euler

Switzerland Postal Service will issued a new stamp that has a postage value of 1.30 CHF named "300th Anniversary from Leonhard Euler" on the 6th of March 2007. This commemorative stamp honors the 300th anniversary of Leonhard Euler birth. Leonhard Euler was one of Switzerland's outstanding scholars. He was born in Basel on the 15th of April 1707 and went on to have a spectacular European career as a mathematician and scientist. The stamp can be purchased as a single, Block of 4, Sheet of 20, Folder, Collection sheet or FDC.
