Astrid Lindgren's Christmas

Sweden Postal Service has issued four new booklet stamps and one coil stamp that have postage values of 5 SEK each named "Astrid Lindgren's Christmas" on the 8th of November 2007. These stamp designs are from beloved children's characters in Astrid Lindgren children's books. The characters depicted on the stamps are Mardi or also known as Mischievous Meg, Lotta on Troublemaker Street, and Pippi Longstocking. The booklet stamps has been named "It's snowing" and the coil stamp has been named "Pippi Baking".

"Astrid Lindgren's Christmas" stamps can be purchased as a booklet of 10, single coil stamp, Collectors sheet, or FDC. The size of the booklet stamps are 31.25mm x 26.60mm and the size of the coil stamp is 31.25mm x 31.25mm. Each have serpentine die cut perforation. The stamps will be printed using the offset printing process.
