The Sweden Postal Service will issue a new stamp set on the 24th of January 2002. The stamp set is named "Fairhair the horse." It features two stamps that depict a horse named Fairhair being ridden by stone age children. Each stamp has a postage value of 5 krona. The stone age children and the horse are from a cartoon named "The Stones family" created by the Swede Bertil Almqvist.

The stamp set can be purchase in either mint or cancelled booklets of 10. A First Day Cover or a special collection sheet is also available. The size of the each stamp is 31.25 x 26.60 mm and the printing process used is 4-color/offset.
