ICC Cricket World Cup 2003

South Africa Postal Service will issued six new stamps in three consecutive issues of which four stamps have already been issued on September 23rd 2002, and November 1st 2002. The third set will be issued on December 21, 2002. The name of three stamp issue is "ICC Cricket World Cup 2003." They represent the ICC Cricket World Cup being held in South Africa on the 9th of February 2003. Each of the stamps depict a fun figure know as Dazzer who is the South African mascot that represents cricket players in 11 different position. Six of these position have been used for the stamps.

The ICC Cricket World Cup stamps can be purchase either mint or canceled in the following formats: single stamp, Sheet of 6, or Control Block. Each stamp size is 28.88 mm x 28 mm. A fun stamp album is also available. It contain pockets for the cricket stamps and 16 pages of fun, games and quizzes for the young ones.
