40th Anniversary of the European Patent Convention (EPC)

The San Marino Postal Service has issued a new stamp that has a postage value of 0.85 Euro named "40th Anniversary of the European Patent Convention (EPC)" on the 7th of June 2013. This stamp depicts a human mind that is full of ideas to invent and the statements 40 YEARS 1973-2013, and INNOVATION MATTERS. There is also a logo of the organization with a fingerprint. The 40th Anniversary convention will be held in Berlin on the 17th of October 2013. It will be attended by the President of the Federal Republic of Germany and all of the 38 member states which include the Republic of San Marino. A total of 70,002 sets will be printed

"40th Anniversary of the European Patent Convention (EPC)" stamps can be purchase as a single, Sheet of 6, and FDC. The size of each stamp is 30mm x 40mm with a stamp perforation of 13 x 13.25 using the 2cm reference. They were printed by Carter Security Printing using the four color offset printing process with fluorescent ink as safety device or security.
