World Theather Day

The San Marino Postal Service will issue a new souvenir sheet with six stamps that have a postage value of 0.85 Euro named "World Theater Day" on the 6th of June 2011. This new souvenir sheet celebrates the art of performing a story live through a combination of words, gestures, music, dance, vocality, expressivity, sounds, designs and scenery. It is covered with images of dancers, actors, buildings and masks that are used in theater.

"World Theater Day" stamps can be purchased as a souvenir sheet, or FDC. The size of the souvenir sheet is 105mm x 137mm and the size of each stamp is 24.65mm x 42mm. Stamp perforation size is 13 X 13 1/2 using the 2cm reference. They will be printed by Joh. Enschede using the offset printing process. A total of 70,000 souvenir sheets will be printed.
