ROYAL MAIL POSTAL SERVICE 2002 ISSUE

The Royal Mail Postal Service will issued five new stamps on the 5th of March 2002. The name of this new issue is Occasions and each stamp has a postage value of 1st class. The stamps celebrate weddings, anniversaries, a new baby, a new home or any family celebration. Plus a greeting stamp that reads hello, a good luck stamp that reads best wishes, and a love stamp. These new stamps are an addition to the stamps issued by Royal Mail in February of 2001. They will make an excellent addition to any collection.

The stamp can be purchase as a single set, Presentation Pack, or FDC. The size of the each stamp is 41 x 30 mm, and the gum used for the stamps is PVA Dextrin. Perforation size is 13 x 14 and the printing process used is lithography. The paper used contains Phosphor Bars for tagging purposes.
