Norwegian Art V

The Norway Postal Service has issued two new stamps that have postage values of B domestic and 14 kr named "Norwegian Art V" on the 21st of February 2012. These new stamps depict the works of sculptor Lars Utne (1862-1922) and artist Hakon Stenstadvoid (1912-1977). The B domestic stamp depicts the sculptor created by Lars Utne named Griffin which is a decoration of the National Gallery. The 14kr stamp was painted by Hakon Stenstadviod and is named Branntomt (Fire site). He was best know for his works as a visual artist that portrayed the trilogies of many dramatic scenes. Both of these men works can be seen at the National Gallery.

"Norwegian Art V" stamps can be purchase as a single, or FDC. They were printed by Joh. Enschede Security Print using the offset printing method.
