Fire and Rescue Services 150th Anniversary

The Norway Postal Service has issued two new stamps that have postage values of 9kr and 27kr named "Fire and Rescue Services 150th Anniversary" on the 3rd of June 2011. These new stamps depict two fire rescue scenes that honor the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect others. Thoughout our history there has been many fires that have had tragic outcomes, but it is because of our fire rescue services, that many of these fires have had a happy endings. They have saved thousands of lives and enormous assets. It is because of their service that the Norway Postal Service has issued these stamps on their 150th anniversary to thank them for their services.

"Fire and Rescue services 150th anniversary" stamps can be purchased as a set of 2, Collector sheet, Presentation Pack or FDC's. They will be printed by Joh. Enschede Security Print using the offset printing process.
