Contemporary Public Buildings

The Ireland Postal Service has issued two new se-tenant stamp pairs that have postage values of 60 and 90 cents named "Contemporary Public Buildings" on the 17th of October 2013. This issue depicts four different public buildings that express a future-focused architectural style that has emerged in Ireland in recent years. Each of the buildings are listed in the table below with their designer.

  • Glucksman Gallery designed by O'Donnell and Tuomey (60c Top).
  • Cork Institute of Technology designed by de Blacam & Meagher. (60c Bottom)
  • Croke Park Stadium designed by Gilroy McMahon (90c Top)
  • Fingal County Hall designed by Bucholz McEvoy (90c Bottom)

"Contemporary Public Buildings" stamps can be purchase as 60c and 90c se-tenant pairs, Sheetlets of 16, Minisheet, and FDCs. The size of the stamps is 51.46mm x 30mm and the size of the mini-sheet is 150mm x 90mm, with each have a perforation size of 13.25 x 13.25 using the 2cm reference. They were printed by Irish Security Stamp Printing Ltd. using the Lithography printing method.
