2012 Greeting Stamps

The Ireland Postal Service has issued two new stamps with a postage value of 55 cents named "2012 Greetings" on the 26th of January 2012. These stamps feature a colorful representations of a gift box and a set of birthday candles. They are also issued in a booklet which contains a selection of stickers that can be affixed to your envelope or package. The stickers feature colorful hearts, envelopes, pencils or stars. Whatever the occasion, these stamps are a great way to send a friend or relative a card or gift which will express your warmest feelings for them.

"2012 Greetings" stamps can be purchase as set of 2, Booklets of 10, or FDC. The size of the stamps is 25mm x 30mm with a perforation size of 13 x 13 using the 2cm reference. They were printed by Irish Security Printing Ltd. using the Lithography printing process. The quantity of 55 cents printed will be 25,000 and the quantity of strip of 2 will be 20,000.
