Centenary of the Irish Amateur Boxing Association

The Ireland Postal Service has issued a new stamp that has a postage value of 55c named "Centenary of the Irish Amateur Boxing Association" on the 14th of April 2011. This new stamp has been issued to commemorate The Irish Amateur Boxing Association (IABA) that was Founded in 1911. It is presence in all 32 counties of Ireland and has an excess of 350 affiliated clubs. These IABA clubs have inspired and helped many young people start their boxing career.

"Centenary of the Irish Amateur Boxing Association" stamp can be purchased as a single, Sheet of 16, or FDC. The size of each stamp is 40.64mm x 29.79mm with a perforation of 15 x 14 using the 2cm reference. They will be printed by Irish Security Stamp Printing Ltd. using the Lithography printing process. A quantity of 224,000 stamps (14,000 Sheets) will be printed.
