Weddings

The Ireland Postal Service has issued a new stamp that has postage values of 0.55 Euro named "Weddings" on the 20th of January 2011. This stamp was designed to be used for mail and wedding stationery. It features a classic black and white photographic image of a newly married couple in a loving embrace, sheltering under a shared umbrella. The 2011 Wedding stamp is sure to enhance the sense of occasion for both the sender and the recipient.

"Weddings" stamp can be purchased as a pair, Booklet of 10, or FDC. The size of the stamp is 13mm x 13mm with a stamp perforation of 13 x 13 using the 2cm reference. It was printed by Irish Security Stamp Printing Ltd. using the Lithography printing process with Tullis Russell paper.
