Scout Se-tenant pairs

The Ireland Postal Service will issued two new se-tenant stamps on the 12th of March 2002. The name of this new issue is "Scouting in Ireland." The stamps commemorate the Scouting establishment for 75 years of programs that have reached out to young people. Scouting in Ireland has existed in Ireland since 1908 when the Scout Association of Ireland began. It is estimated that there are over 30,000 young Scouts throughout Ireland at this time. And that some 350,000 young people have come and gone since the Scouting program began in Ireland. In the World Organization of the Scout Movement there are more than 25 million Scouts worldwide in over 150 countries. The colorful stamps illustrate the activities of the various scouting programs. The first se-tenant pair postage is valued at 0.41 Euro each, and the second se-tenant pair has a postage value of 0.57 Euro each. These stamps will make an excellent addition to any collection.

The stamp can be purchase as a single set, Sheet lets of 16, or FDC. The size of the each stamp is 40.64 x 29.8 mm with a Perforation size of 14 x 15. Multicolor with phosphor tagging is used with the lithography printing process.
