Tourist-stamps II

The Iceland Postal Service will issue two new stamps that have postage values of 175kr.(50g to Europe) and 230kr.(50g outside Europe) named "Tourist-stamps II" on the 24th of January 2013. These new stamps depict two beautiful tourist sites name Aldeyjafoss and Hafursey. Aldeyjafoss is a waterfall that is 20 meters high and is part of the glacial river of Skjalfandi. Hafursey is a tuff mountain in northern Myrdalssandur. It is a special tourist site with plenty of traveling space that includes a cave on the western side of the mountain.

"Tourist-stamps II" stamp can be purchase as a set of 2, Blocks of 4, Sheets of 10, and FDCs. The size of the stamps is 35.00mm x 24.7917mm with a perforation size of 13 3/4 using the 2cm reference. The stamps will be printed by Joh. Enschede Security Print using the offset Litho printing method with 110gms gummed Sopal paper. A quantity of 350,000 Aldeyjarfoss, and 150,000 Hafursey stamps will be printed.
