Findland Christmas 2002 Stamps

Finland Postal Service has issued two new Christmas stamps on the 1st of November 2002 named "Church Sleigh and Angel." The 0,45 Euro Christmas stamp features a horse-drawn sleigh in a snowy wonderland with a church in the background. The 0,60 Euro Christmas stamp features an angel blowing a trumpet declaring the Christmas tidings of joy.

The Finland 2002 Christmas stamps can be purchased as a single either mint or canceled, the Sleigh stamp in a sheet of 20 or the angel stamp in a sheet of 10. Either sheet can be purchased canceled or mint. An FDC with both stamps is also available. The sleigh stamp size is 34.5 mm x 24.5 mm and the angel stamp size 24.5 x 34.5. Both stamps are self-adhesive using 210g/m square paper. The stamps will be printed using the 6/1 - rotogravure printing process by Joh. Enschede Security Printers, Holland. A quantity of 55 million Church Sleigh stamps and 8 million Angel stamps will be printed.
