Raspberry Rules

Finland Postal Service has issued a new stamp that has a postage value of 1st Class (0.70 Euro) named "Raspberry Rules" on the 24th of August 2007. This stamp concludes the Finland Post berries series. It is the fifth stamp in the series and I must say it looks very tasty. Makes my mouth water when I look at all those tasty raspberries and cake. Delicious raspberries have been used since prehistoric times to create some very tasty dishes. Today they are used to create a variety of cakes, cupcakes, donuts and other tasty treats. The Finland post has also issued a Berries Selection product which includes the berries series stamps, postcard and information sheet. This product text can be purchased in either English, Swedish or Finnish.

"Raspberry Rules" stamps can be purchased in a single stamp, Sheet of 10, Berry selection pack, or FDC. The size of the stamp is 24.5mm x 34.5mm with a safety perforation . Sheet size is 103.5mm x 210mm. They will be printed by Joh. Enschede Stamps, Netherlands using the gravure printing process with self adhesive stamp paper. A quantity of 8 million will be issued.
