Finland Postal Service has been taken over by 2 Christmas Elves. The Elves have issued 2 new Christmas stamps on the 26th day of October 2001. The stamps feature two Elves, one girl elf and one boy elf living their lives in Korvatunturi. The home of Santa Claus. Korvatunturi is located in the Arctic Circle and this is where Santa Claus has the children of Finland write to him. Santa Claus main post address for Finland children is:

The two Finland Postal Service Elves stamps can be purchase as a single stamp, sheet of 20 for girl elf and sheet of 10 for boy elf, or First Day Cover. The size of the girl elf stamp is 24.5 x 34.5 mm, and the size of the boy elf is 34.5 x 24.5mm. The perforation size is 14.5 x 13.5 for each stamp. The quantity of girl elf stamps printed will be 45,000,000, and the quantity of boy elf stamps printed will be 4,000,000. The printing process for the stamps is 5 color gravure.
