Canada Postal Service has issued eight new mountain stamps on the 1st of October 2002. The name of the set is "Mountains." And each of the stamps depict a different mountain in the world. All of the stamps have a Canadian postage value of 48 cents. Each mountain depicted on the stamps shown above is as follows:

The Mountain stamps can be purchase as a souvenir sheet that comes with a decorative folder, or two First Day Covers. The souvenir sheet size is 36 mm x 29 mm - 32mm (horizontal). The perforations is Diecut and the stamps have a self adhesive gum. A quantity of 5,000,000 stamps will be printed by "Lowe-Martin" using the lithography Printing process in 9 colors. A general 4 sides tagging will be used.
