Baby Wildlife

The Canada Postal Service has issued four new stamps that have postage values of Permanent Domestic rate, $1.03, $1.25, and $1.75 named "Baby Wildlife" on the 17th of January 2011. These definitive stamps depict Arctic Hares, Baby Red Fox, Baby Geeses and a Polar Bear. They are being issued to put an emotional smile on both collectors and consumers when they view these cute baby wildlife images. This will be the first issue in a three years series of four definitives to be issued annually. The subsequent years stamps in this series will continue to showcase baby animals found in various regions throughout the country.

"Baby Wildlife" stamps can be purchased as Booklets, Various Strips, Coils, Souvenir Sheet or FDC's. The size of the stamps is 24mm x 20mm with a stamp perforation of 13+ using the 2cm reference. Souvenir Sheet size will be 120mm x 72mm. They were printed by Lowe-Martin using the Lithography printing process with Tullis Russell paper.
