Surfing Australia Block and FDC Stamp

The Australia Postal Service will issue four new stamps that have a postage value of 60c named "Surfing Australia" on the 12th of February 2013. These new stamps depict four different historical views of the fun and leisure life on the beaches of Australia. Since 1950, the sport has grown from unforeseen to what it means to be Australian. The governing body of the sport celebrates 50 years of promoting surfing; and since that time Australia has produced some of the most popular surf champions in the world.

"Surfing Australia" stamps can be purchase as a Block of 4, Booklets of 10, Mini-sheet, and FDCs. The size of the stamps is 37.5mm x 26mm with a perforation size of 13.86 x 14.6 using the 2cm reference. The stamps will be printed by Mckellar Renown using the Lithography printing method with Tullis Russell paper.
