Special Occasions-Love Blooms

Australia Postal Service will issue a new stamp that has a postage value of 50 cents named "Special Occasions-Love Blooms" on the 15th of January 2008. This new stamp depicts a Red Rose which was designed to convey the emotion of love on postage. It can be used for engagements, weddings, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Birthdays and other celebration or for everyday letters. The Red Rose has always been a symbol of love for those who share special and loving relationships with each other. It is also a traditional Valentine's Day gift from Husbands to wife's or from boyfriends to girlfriends.

"Special Occasions-Love Blooms" stamps can be purchased as a single stamp. Prestige booklet, Sheetlet of 10, Sheetlet pack, Perfumed and foiled self-adhesive sheetlet, or FDC. The size of the stamp 26mm x 35.50mm with a perforation size of 14.6 x 13.86 using the 2cm reference. They will be printed by SEP Sprint using the Lithography printing process with Tullis Russel gummed paper.
