The Iceland Postal Service has issued a new souvenir sheet that has two stamps with a postage value of 75 ISK named "Norden by the Sea I. - Life at the Coast" on the 18th of March 2010. This souvenir sheet depicts one of Icelands fishing industries. Few nations depend more on the ocean and coastal preservation than Iceland. Using strict measures Iceland managed to put an end to overfishing and reduced ocean pollution. Important fish stocks were strengthened which have bolstered the Icelandic economy.

"Norden by the Sea I. - Life at the Coast" stamps can be purchased as a souvenir sheet or FDC. The size of each stamp is 25.50mm x 40mm with a perforation of 13 1/4 x 14 using the 2cm reference. The size of the souvenir sheet is 105mm x 70mm. They will be printed by Joh. Enschede Security Print using the 4 color offset Litho printing process with Sopal 110gms paper. A total of 80,000 stamps will be issued.
