ADEN

Aden used India stamps before 1937. In 1963, the Western Aden Protectorate formed the Federation of South Arabia. This did not include the Eastern Aden British Protectorate which included Kathiri and Quaiti states until 1965. When the Federation of South Arabia began to issue Kathiri and the Quaiti states stamps. In 1967 the British left Aden and it became the capital of South Yemen.
